In this hands-on GC maintenance video, I show how I replace the top shell weldment on an Agilent 6890 split/splitless inlet. The top shell weldment is part of the inlet assembly and can require replacement when it becomes damaged, contaminated, or no longer performs reliably after repeated maintenance.
